LetsStopAIDS is a Canadian youth-HIV charity that focuses on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of youth-HIV leaders.

LetsStopAIDS has an exciting volunteer internship opportunity for a confident, results-driven professional to join our communications team. Under the direction of the Event Manager, Event coordinator will help plan events, create meaningful connections and partnerships throughout the year.

Responsibilities

- Alongside Development Team, determine and define project scope, objectives, and schedules
- Establish clear and actionable goals and schedules for key project deliverables, ensuring
smooth and successful implementation
- Ability to build and monitor budget implementation
- Conduct quality checks on project progress and ensure any issues that may arise during
the project are resolved in a timely manner
- Build relationships with external partners and stakeholders with an eye for growth and
visibility
- Coordinate with a team of volunteer all aspects related to the logistics for
events/projects, from procurement through to purchase and implementation
