Inspire

Back in Joburg!

These past two days, Shamin and Nathaniel met again with the youth at the Zimbanathi Project and Tsogang Sechab to conduct the second half of their workshops. In both Tembisa and Soweto, LetsStopAIDS witnessed both the individual potential of every child, as well as the bright collective future for each of these communities. It was evident that the message of assuming leadership in both HIV/AIDS and environmental conservation was clearly driven home into the hearts and minds of these youth.

They understand that they have the power and ability to shape their communities and redefine their country. The importance of sharing, inspiring, and creating did not go unnoticed. In all their group presentations, it was evident that the motivation and passion were there in limitless quantities. All they truly lack is the support and LetsStopAIDS is here to give it to them. Shamin and Nathaniel are so proud of each and every youth that they befriended and got to know well these past three weeks. These youth convinced them that a long-term investment by LetsStopAIDS in South Africa is necessary and worthwhile. Undoubtedly, they certainly intend to come back soon and continue building on the outstanding progress they have made in 2008!
