LetsStopAIDS is a Canadian youth-HIV charity that focuses on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of youth-HIV leaders. 

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all aspects of logistics for events and programmes, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and according to plan. Here's a typical job description for a Logistics Coordinator in event/ programme management. 

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, setup, transportation, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
• Work closely with event organizers, vendors, and volunteers to ensure all logistics activities are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage event timelines and schedules, ensuring all logistics tasks are completed according to plan.
• Oversee venue setup and breakdown, coordinating with onsite staff and volunteers to ensure a seamless event experience.
• Procure and manage event supplies, equipment, and materials, ensuring adequate inventory levels and proper storage.
• Coordinate transportation  and food arrangements for event participants, speakers, and staff as needed.
• Liaise with vendors and service providers to negotiate contracts, obtain quotes, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Provide on-site support during events, addressing any logistical issues or emergencies that may arise.

Qualifications
